2019, I received an award for defending my Ph.D. thesis with distinction; this is meant to reward particularly good publications, theses, and defense in addition to a top grade.
2018, Mistletoe Research Fellowship unfettered research grant. This grant allowed the recipients to form teams and perform research for a collaboration for a startup company over the course of one year. This provided a new research experience working with many different disciplines.
